Builder — thrives at the intersection of technology, business, and creativity.
I started Trovil to give East African businesses access to world-class digital execution, and kept building until the work spoke for itself globally.
"Good design is not just how it looks — it's how it works, earns, and lasts."
Whether we're helping a Nairobi startup find its first 1,000 customers or collaborating with an international brand on a product used across continents — the standard is the same: precision engineering, intuitive design, and real business thinking.
The Story
Growing up in Kenya, I was drawn to how technology could solve local problems in ways the world hadn't imagined yet. I taught myself to code before I had a reason to — just the pull of building things that actually work.
I noticed a gap: East African businesses had serious ambitions but rarely got access to the calibre of digital work that global brands took for granted. Trovil was built to close that gap — starting in Nairobi, and proving the work everywhere else.
A decade in, we collaborate with founders, growth teams, and creative directors across Africa, and internationally. The mission stays the same: ship solutions that move the needle.
Journey
Built a strong technical and business foundation through structured academic training — while simultaneously teaching himself to code after hours. The classroom gave him the frameworks; the side projects gave him the instincts. Both shaped how he builds today.
Expanded into digital marketing, brand identity, and product engineering — serving East African markets while attracting the first international briefs.
Launched Trovil with a clear standard: premium digital work for any business, on any continent — rooted in Nairobi, reaching everywhere.
Shipping for clients across the world — and continuously growing the Trovil product ecosystem for developers worldwide.
What Drives Me
Beyond the code and the boardroom — the things that fuel the thinking.
